How to connect Sponteous with Cloudbeds?

How to sign up for Sponteous?

You can sign up for Sponteous by reaching us to hello@sponteous.com, by booking a demo with us or by simply requesting the integration on your Cloudbeds marketplace.



How to connect with Cloudbeds for the first time?

1. Log in to Cloudbeds 

2. Click on "Accounts" (right corner) and go to "App & Marketplace"

3. Search for Sponteous

4. Click on the "Connect App" button 

5. Authorize Sponteous to access your account

6. Once you give your consent to Cloudbeds, you will be redirected to our configuration portal.


7. If you are managing many properties under the same account, you can select which properties you would like to connect with Sponteous.


8. Review your properties details and click "Next".


9. Book and introductory call with our team. During, this call, we will review your configurations and help you get started. Prior to the call, you will receive your credentials and the access to your Sponteous account.



Specific functionalities with Cloudbeds

Sponteous is seamlessly integrated with Cloudbeds through a 2-way connectivity. With our Cloudbeds integration you have access to all our advanced functionalities : 

  • Your PMS is automatically updated when a bid is accepted or a product is added to a reservation.
  • Your offers can be accepted automatically.
  • Custom reservation notes can be included, which will seamlessly integrate into Cloudbeds once a bid is accepted.
  • You can offer products using a relative dynamic pricing based on your price set in Cloudbeds.



Limitations with Cloudbeds

  • Sponteous is unable to retrieve the translations for your room types and products from Cloudbeds. The default languages will be fetched by Sponteous, and any necessary translations must be added manually.



How to disconnect?

From Sponteous side 

1. From your Sponteous account, go to Settings and click on Integration (from the left menu)

2. Under "PMS" (Cloudbeds), click "Disconnect from Cloudbeds"

1. Does Sponteous support Cloudbeds Group Accounts?

Yes. Sponteous handles multi-property configurations. You can easily switch to your other properties within the same session and each properties can have its own set of user permissions.
