Modified on Wed, 21 Aug at 2:16 PM

Booking.com has introduced a new settings within the Extranet in order to enhance security for guest messages, particularly against phishing attempts.

In such cases, any external links will appear as [link removed] in the Extranet environmentIf this Booking.com setting is enabled for your hotel, the guests will not be able to copy-paste the Sponteous link. The solution for this is to add our domain "app.sponteous.com" and the domains used to send email, such as "@sponteous.com" and "mail.sponteous.co" to your whitelisted external links/domains in Booking.com.

Important :

  • You must be a booking.com admin

  • In case you don't see the Security Settings tab in your Booking.com Extranet that means that Booking.com hasn't rolled this out for your hotel(s). In this case, no action is required.
